The Jornada Startups Program Kicks Off Its 5th Edition With More Than 100 Participating Startups

Santa Catarina’s innovation ecosystem kicked off the 5th edition of the “Jornada Startups” pre-acceleration program. At an event held last Tuesday (26) at the Sebrae/SC headquarters in Florianópolis, the selected companies were welcomed to begin a three-month immersion program that promises to transform their trajectory in the market.

Organized by ACATE and Sebrae Startups, the program offers an intensive series of workshops and individual and group mentoring sessions. Alexandre Souza, Innovation Manager at Sebrae/SC, encouraged the new participants by highlighting the program’s evolving content. “Make the most of Jornada Startups; our content model has already been validated and has made a significant difference for the startups that participated,” he said.

Tulio Duarte, Vice President of Ecosystems at ACATE, emphasized the importance of collaboration and the support offered to entrepreneurs. “Jornada Startups was designed so that you can work alongside highly qualified individuals—whether they are the entrepreneurs also participating in the program or the teams from ACATE and Sebrae organizing this initiative.”

The highlight of the schedule will be the Startup Summit 2026, taking place on August 26, 27, and 28 in Florianópolis. The companies that perform best during the program will have the exclusive opportunity to pitch to investors during the event, one of Latin America’s leading innovation and startup events. 

Until then, entrepreneurs will undergo online training led by 49 Educação, covering topics such as value proposition, growth strategies, marketing, sales, and prospecting techniques. 

Jornada Startups is sponsored by Dell Technologies and Softcon and is part of Sebrae Startups’ Jornada Empreendedora, which includes major initiatives such as Startup SC, Techstars Startup Weekend, and the Nascer Program.
