Retail Tech Day 2026 Brings Together Major Brands and Experts in Florianópolis

Oportunidades, Sem categoria

The Varejo Tech Day 2026 event invites the Brazilian retail sector to explore the trends of a new era across various markets: from the automotive to the fashion sectors, every area is undergoing a transformation driven by artificial intelligence (AI), and now brands are also innovating collaboratively. On June 24, at CIA Primavera in Florianópolis, the program will connect retail with technology through lectures, panel discussions, business opportunities, and networking.

Tickets for Varejo Tech Day are on sale at this link and provide access to a variety of experiences organized by ACATE’s Retail Vertical—a group of technology companies from Santa Catarina and the event’s organizer. The event is open to entrepreneurs and professionals from various sectors, startups, and investors, who will have access to the content of the Varejo Show featuring prominent figures, leading names in retail, and experts, including:

– Virna Dias, former volleyball player and Olympic medalist;
–
Elói Prado, Executive Director of Retail and Distribution at Totvs;
–
Renan Beca, Head of Marketing at BYD;
–
Felipe Roman, Director of AI at RD Station;
–
Bruno Brasil, Commercial Director at Hering;
–
Fabiana Suzuki, OnStar Coordinator at General Motors do Brasil;
–
Renata Duayer, National Retail Manager at AMC Textil;
–
Luiz Othero, Co-Founder and CEO of AIMANA.

Starting at 1:00 p.m. on the Varejo Show stage, the focus will be on discussions about AI, customer experience, and trends in consumption, sales, and more. Following the presentations, there will be a happy hour during the Brazil vs. Scotland soccer match.

In addition to the talks and panels, the Varejo Tech Day program will also feature a business roundtable hosted by Dell Technologies to bring together startups, retailers, and investors—an exclusive event on the morning of June 24 at CIA Primavera for participants with tickets that include Matchmaking. Approximately 40 industry players will be in attendance, including: Almeida Junior, Grupo Panvel, APAS (São Paulo Supermarket Association), and Farmácias São João.

“This edition of Varejo Tech Day marks the beginning of a new era for the retail sector, in which AI and collaboration between brands are essential for scaling results. More than ever, technology is transforming retail across the board, from logistics to the customer experience in stores or on marketplaces,” says Gabriel Fernandes, director of ACATE’s Retail Vertical.

Retail Tech Day 2026 expects to welcome more than 800 people to the city recognized as the National Capital of Startups. With 150 technology companies from across the state of Santa Catarina, the Retail Vertical is ACATE’s largest business group, bringing together a vast portfolio of solutions for retailers and contributing to the sector’s digital transformation.

This year, the event also features a partnership with the sponsors of ACATE’s Retail Vertical: Almeida Junior, APAS, and Grupo Panvel. Retail Tech Day is master-sponsored by Dell Technologies and Farmácias São João, in addition to Mister O, a sponsor in the startup category. Sebrae is an institutional supporter.
