MIDIHUB Network Opens Applications for Technology-Based Startups in Santa Catarina
The MIDIHUB Network, Brazil’s largest incubator network, has applications open for technology-based startups interested in joining its incubation program. The application period runs from February 2 to March 8 and offers spots across 12 incubators throughout Santa Catarina.
Starting this year, selected startups will be exclusively integrated into STARTUP.SC — an in-person training initiative with six gatherings in Florianópolis over two years, focused on intensive content, mentorship, and connections with investors. Participation in STARTUP.SC is part of the program for startups joining the MIDIHUB Network.
Created based on the MIDITEC methodology — an initiative of the Catarinense Association of Technology (ACATE) in partnership with Sebrae/SC — the MIDIHUB Network applies a practical, results-oriented approach to support companies in the traction stage, with a product or service already in operation. The focus is on accelerating the growth and scale of startups with innovative solutions and high market potential, connecting them with specialists, investors, and strategic partners.
The methodology is applied through a track with semiannual goals, mentorship from market specialists and experienced entrepreneurs, subsidized consulting, networking events, performance tracking, and connections with the ACATE and Sebrae Startups ecosystem. Each participating incubator maintains autonomy in its governance, while sharing standardized tools, processes, and routines. The program requires active commitment from founders, especially regarding participation in mentorship sessions, strategic deliverables, and the in-person gatherings scheduled in the program.
Approved startups gain access to:
– Mentorship sessions with market specialists and experienced entrepreneurs;
– Specialized consulting with partial subsidies, depending on the type of service;
– Tracking of performance indicators and business progress;
– Networking events, connection sessions with investors and strategic partners;
– Integration into the ACATE and Sebrae Startups ecosystem;
– Participation in business verticals and thematic groups;
– Visibility across strategic MIDIHUB Network channels.
The program does not require an equity stake in the startups. Financial terms, such as any monthly fees or operational counterparts, are detailed in each incubator’s specific call for applications.
Who Can Apply
Startups may apply if they have:
– An active CNPJ with tax headquarters in Santa Catarina;
– A CNAE classification compatible with the technology sector;
– Annual revenue of up to R$4.8 million;
– A product or service already in operation.
Startups still in the ideation stage (without validation or operation) or with revenue above the established limit are not eligible. The full call for applications, including the specific requirements of each unit, should be reviewed on the MIDIHUB Network website. GovTech startups, whose main client is the public sector, must apply exclusively through Sebraehub in Florianópolis, regardless of their city of origin.
