FIN Brasil 2026 is establishing itself as a driving force for connecting companies in Santa Catarina with international markets
The month of May can already be considered historic for the corporate world in Santa Catarina. The 2026 edition of FIN Brasil, held on May 12 and 13 at the Univali Campus in the city of Itajaí, has established itself as a significant driving force for the internationalization of Santa Catarina brands and companies.
During the event, which was attended by corporate leaders from companies that are leaders in various market niches, businesspeople and entrepreneurs had the opportunity to connect with potential partners and investors with the specific goal of fostering business deals both in Brazil and internationally.
One of the major highlights of FIN Brasil was the business matchmaking session. Through a format designed to maximize results, business leaders and entrepreneurs had the opportunity to present their organizations to players from other markets and, in this way, identify areas of common interest for joint initiatives and partnerships.
The presence of officials from the public sector was also a key distinguishing feature of this year’s edition. The event featured special lectures and presentations by Edgard Usuy, Secretary of Industry, Commerce, and Services for Santa Catarina; Carmen Zanotto, Mayor of Lages; Anna Heiderscheidt, Secretary of Industry and Commerce for Palhoça, Anna Heiderscheidt, as well as ambassadors and representatives from countries such as Portugal, Ethiopia, and Malta.
According to Jatyr Ranzolin, president of the Brazil-Portugal Chamber of Commerce in Santa Catarina and head of the organizing committee, “FIN BRASIL has once again demonstrated its immense potential for connecting business leaders, entrepreneurs, and public officials. Today, having a broad professional network has become an indispensable strategic tool for enhancing organizations’ competitiveness and enabling success in various markets. And once again, FIN BRASIL fulfilled its role of bringing corporate and government stakeholders together, paving the way for lasting partnerships and alliances. In 2027, our event will take place in the city of Lages, and I am certain that the Santa Catarina mountains will also become an important stage for the consolidation of major business deals and partnerships.”
