Open Innovation Kickoff Event Marks the Launch of the ORBI Program
Sapiens Parque, InPETU hub, and MOA Ventures launched last Monday (6) the ORBI open innovation program, focused on the Oil and Gas, Energy, and Mobility sectors. The launch took place during the Open Innovation Kickoff, an event held at SENAI, at Sapiens Parque, in Florianópolis.
The gathering brought together partners from the innovation ecosystem and featured institutional presentations from representatives of the organizations involved, including Sapiens Parque CEO Eduardo César Vieira, who highlighted the Park’s role in developing an innovative environment. Following this, Professor Armando Albertazzi presented InPETU hub and the Sapiens Parque Connect project, while Marcos Buson, founder of MOA Ventures, detailed ORBI’s proposal and its work in bringing companies and solutions together.
Held in a hybrid format, the event marked the start of the program, bringing together representatives from different sectors and strengthening connections between companies, startups, laboratories, and research groups, with a focus on collaboration and joint development.
ORBI was conceived within the scope of Sapiens Parque Connect and is part of the InPETU Open Lab initiative, carried out by Sapiens Parque and InPETU hub, with execution by MOA Ventures. Over seven months, the program offers full support to participating companies, from identifying and prioritizing strategic challenges to monitoring solution development.
“The program goes beyond geographic location and relies on Sapiens Parque’s connection capacity. The idea is to help companies develop new business models, create investment opportunities, and generate innovation in partnership with startups and universities,” said Marcos Buson, founder of MOA Ventures.
Selected organizations will have access to qualified mentorship, support in structuring projects, and connections with research institutions, specialists, and strategic partners. Ongoing monitoring of initiatives is also planned, focused on generating practical results applicable to companies’ needs.
Registration is now open. More information is available at this link.
